POSTING SCHEDULE:   Our basic intent is to collect a library of well written stories - a place for a new reader to start out with the best and for other readers to find old favorites.  Many of the stories we're gathering are "classics," not stories newly written or new to the internet. We probably won't post any updates until we have at least a dozen stories to add. [We will update the opinion forums more often if someone sends an opinion they'd like to share.]    There are a few Bonanza sites out there adding new stories on a daily or weekly basis and doing a nice job of it.  [Check our links page.]  We're not trying to compete with them.  Consider us an archive.

READER NOMINATIONS:  We welcome reader nominations for both our general postings and our specialty pages, such as the page for holiday/birthday stories.  Nominated stories will be sent to the selection committee.  For a story to be accepted, it must receive at least five votes from committee members.  Only about 25% of the stories reviewed are accepted for posting.  If you have it, send URLS or story documents or the story's website location to nominations@williamsmith.org

If a story is accepted, we'll contact the author for her original document.  We do not post stories without explicit permission of the author and do not take stories from other websites, even with permission of the author.
